Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Fire Restriction lifted
The current BWCAW Fire Restriction will be lifted June 12, 2026
Duluth, Minn. June 11, 2026— The Superior National Forest, Forest Supervisor Drew Stroberg, signed a termination notice of the current emergency Forest Order 09-09-00-26-05 BWCAW Fire Restrictions effective June 12, 2026.
Visitors are encouraged to be aware of the weather conditions in the area and take precautions to ensure a safe visit.
